Pro Se/Pro Bono Clinic

The TBBBA Pro Se/Pro Bono Assistance Clinic is now open—virtually! If you are a pro se party in need of assistance with a bankruptcy matter, please contact the Clinic at to schedule an appointment. You will receive an email with a link to a Google form that will allow you to begin the process of scheduling an appointment with the Clinic. Please know that no attorney-client relationship is formed by completing the Google form or emailing the Clinic.

The Clinic can assist with an array of bankruptcy matters, including the following

– Reaffirmation Agreements

– Chapter 13 Plans

– Student Loans

– Mortgage Modifications

– Exemptions

– Objections to Claim

– Creditor’s Rights/Proof of Claim

– General Bankruptcy Issues (e.g., Schedules or completion of other required forms or disclosures)

Unfortunately, the Clinic is unable to assist with foreclosure defense, appeals, or chapter 11 matters at this time.

Please contact John Landkammer at with any general, non-legal questions concerning the Clinic or to inquire regarding volunteer opportunities.

Florida Pro Bono Matters

Finding just the right pro bono case is now a snap – or at least just a couple of clicks – thanks to a new interactive website funded by The Florida Bar Foundation. Search through available pro bono matters by filtering for subject matter and locale. When you find the right opportunity, fill in your information and submit. The posting organization will then contact you with more information. It’s really that simple.
