TBBBA encourages all members to get involved in Pro Bono!  There are many ways to give back, find the one that is a good fit for you.

Pro Se/Pro Bono Clinic

Beginning in the month of November, the TBBBA plans to reopen its Pro Se Assistance Clinic—virtually!  The Virtual TBBBA Pro Se Assistance Clinic is a great way to provide pro bono service in an even more convenient and, now, CDC compliant manner.  Thank you for all of your continued dedication to the TBBBA Pro Se Assistance Clinic.  We hope that you will continue to serve the participants through the TBBBA Pro Se Assistance Clinic.

Normally it is open Monday and Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.. Did you know that the Pro Bono Clinic has a stand alone terminal to access the bankruptcy dockets and documents – FREE OF CHARGE?  You  don’t have to use your own Pacer ID and Passwords.  Yet another incentive to volunteer for the Pro Bono Clinic!

Should anyone have a question, please feel free to contact John Landkammer at Thank You!

The Clinic is located in the attorney resource room on the 9th floor of the Sam Gibbons Federal Courthouse 801 N Florida Avenue Tampa FL 33602

*if you are in need of pro bono assistance, the clinic is walk in. The sign ups are for volunteering attorneys.

Florida Pro Bono Matters

Finding just the right pro bono case is now a snap – or at least just a couple of clicks – thanks to a new interactive website funded by The Florida Bar Foundation. Search through available pro bono matters by filtering for subject matter and locale. When you find the right opportunity, fill in your information and submit. The posting organization will then contact you with more information. It’s really that simple.
